The classic that is the Leather Grizzly Boot is possibly the finest piece of craftmanship to come out of Maine, USA, home of the Quoddy family. The boot which features a handsewn moccasin style construction, has been produced to really stand the test of time. It help it on its way, Quoddy have lined it with only the most luxurious of Calf skin, so soft that they recommend going sockless, though we will leave this option to you! The ultra-strong 63" rawhide laces only add to the strength and durability this boot offers the wearer.

Obviously though, the true greatness of a any boot is in the sole unit. Again, the Grizzly Boot delivers. The outsole has been produced using a handsewn Chromepak Leather Wrap, with the footbed coming with a full length layer of memory foam which again offers the wearer not only supreme comfort but also an effective insulation layer. Quoddy have also replaced the traditional tongue with Deerskin bellows which keep out debris and maintains warmth with out adding excessive bulk.

The offer from Quoddy that we love most is that fact we can pick and choose our own fabric make-up. For this we have chosen a classic Peanut Brown Leather upper and as stated previously, an amazing Chrompak Leather handsewn sole. All in all, this boot has got to be seen to be believed.

The Quoddy footwear range is regular fitting and we advise buying your usual size or maybe half-a-size to a full size up should you wish to wear them for outdoor activities and want to underlayer them for extra warmth etc.
