In 1980, Shawn Stussy made his mark. He screenprinted his scrawled signature on T-Shirts and sold them with surfboards around Laguna Beach, California. These tees set the stage for things to come and spawned Stussy, a clothing label that flipped casual wear with a classic style, that changed the fashion world forever.
With Stussy`s success came the opportunity to travel and spread the Stussy vibe. While globe-trotting, Stussy hooked up with the trendsetters of London, Japan and other areas of the world; musicians, skaters, DJ`s and artists.
It was simple. He gave them gear and they rocked it. It was the spark that helped Stussy set the world on fire.
