The North Face Stretch Venture Jacket

The North Face Men's Venture Jacket is a lightweight, waterproof, and breathable jacket designed for hiking, backpacking, climbing-any adventure in warmer, wet conditions.
The Venture features HyVent DT, a highly breathable, waterproof fabric with a raised microdot inner surface that acts to lift the shell fabric away from your skin. This provides a comfortable, soft, easy-sliding feel while maximizing moisture transport away from your skin. The result: you stay drier and warmer.

The lightweight Venture jacket weighs in at a mere 12.5 ounces, has an adjustable, rollable hood, a brushed chinguard lining, and pit zips so you don't roast when rainy weather gets a little too warm. This highly compressible jacket stows away in its own left pocket. Other nice touches include Velcro adjustable cuffs, two hand pockets, and a hem cinchcord.

Ask anybody to name a high-performance outerwear brand and most will mention The North Face.

Born in 1966 by two hiking enthusiasts who founded a small mountaineering store in the heart of San Francisco`s North Beach, it was`nt until 1968 that they began producing their own collection under The North Face brand. The name was selected because in the northern hemisphere, the north face of a mountain is typically the coldest, iciest, and most formidable to climb.

In 2006 the folk at The North Face decided the time was right to enter the more fashion-orientated market. Coming direct from the company`s European headquarters in Germany, Triads was chosen as the first store to house the collection. Another two stores were later added to the mix but Triads remains one of the biggest stockists of the collection.
