Fred Perry x Alastair McKimm Hooded Sweater

Alastair McKimm's previous Blank Canvas project proved so successful, Fred Perry invited the designer and stylist to develop three new styles.

The designs use key Fred Perry details including a polo shirt placket, tipped collars and cuffs and cleverly combines them with simple long sleeve jersey tees and hoodies.

The classic laurel branding is applied via pique covered pin badges.

All the styles are worked in black pique and jersey with champagne tipping and laurel.

Alastair started his career in the fashion department of i-D magazine as a leading freelance stylist working with a number of key international style magazines including Exit and GQ Style.

Another exclusive for Triads is the beautiful Blank Canvas collection from Fred Perry.

The Blank Canvas project is unique and was introduced to illustrate Fred Perry`s commitment to support both new and established design talent. The brand invited cutting-edge, British based designers to develop capsule collections that combined their own, distinctive creative style with classic Fred Perry products.

Cult designers such as Judy Blame, Peter Jensen and David David were all given the same mission - to approach the project in their own personal way and applications have included over-printing, customising and completely de-constructing garments. The current season sees Alastair McKimm, who as well as working for the likes of i-D and Italian, Chinese and Japanese Vogue, was also a stylist for The Beastie Boys.
