Fred Perry Polka Dot & Stripe Navy Scarf

Men's Scarf

Here are the fantastic 100% Silk Scarves produced in a special collaborative project between two cult British iconic companies, Fred Perry and Tootal.

There are few genuine Mod clothing brands with real Mod class and history, but Tootal is one of them. A classic British heritage brand, Tootal played an important role in Sixties and Seventies Mod fashion.

The Tootal scarf first became a fashion accessory in the World War 2 era and became associated with a "RAF" look and style. In the Sixties, the Tootal scarves made a revival when Mod Scooter boys took up the retro scarves (in line with a traditional Mod racing style) and sought out vintage Tootal scarves from the Fourties and Fifties.

Tootal scarves later found popularity in the Nineties Indie and Britpop era, when they were worn by iconic figures such as Paul Weller and Liam Gallagher.

For this exclusive collaborative project, Fred Perry have chosen some classic designs.

This features a polka dot & stripe double-sided design.

Another exclusive for Triads is the beautiful Blank Canvas collection from Fred Perry.

The Blank Canvas project is unique and was introduced to illustrate Fred Perry`s commitment to support both new and established design talent. The brand invited cutting-edge, British based designers to develop capsule collections that combined their own, distinctive creative style with classic Fred Perry products.

Cult designers such as Judy Blame, Peter Jensen and David David were all given the same mission - to approach the project in their own personal way and applications have included over-printing, customising and completely de-constructing garments. The current season sees Alastair McKimm, who as well as working for the likes of i-D and Italian, Chinese and Japanese Vogue, was also a stylist for The Beastie Boys.
